How to use Fromelon-T Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Fromelon-T Eye Drop works

Fromelon-T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Tobramycin and Fluorometholone which treat bacterial eye infections. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Fluorometholone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.

Lactation

To reduce the amount of Fromelon-T Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Driving
Fromelon-T Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
Fromelon-T Eye Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Fromelon-T Eye Drop may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
