Dr. Varun Gupta

Dr. Varun Gupta leads the medical affairs team of 1mg as the Vice President. He graduated with an MBBS degree from M.P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar and received his degree in MD (Pharmacology) from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. Dr. Varun authored a book, namely, An Introduction to Environmental Pharmacology (ISBN 978-81-906070-4-9). Prior to heading our team, Dr. Gupta has worked as a healthcare assistant in medical relief camps at Bhuj, the epicenter of Gujarat earthquake in 2001 and later with M.P. Shah Medical College. Dr. Varun brings in his 10 years’ experience and expertise in clinical healthcare and content to help create authentic, credible and trustworthy content. He began his journey as a senior resident with Maulana Azad Medical College followed by being the Manager (Medical Education), Head (e-products for Elsevier South Asia) and Head (Education Solutions Elsevier South Asia) with Elsevier, India.
