Vitamin c injection has a wide variety of uses in the body. It is a water-soluble vitamin that is necessary for normal growth and development. It helps to slow down or prevent cell damage. It is used to form an important protein used to make skin, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels, heal wounds and form scar tissue, repair and maintain cartilage, bones, teeth, connective tissue and the immune system. It promotes healing and helps the body absorb iron, which is needed for red blood cell production. It is used to treat and prevent scurvy (a disease caused by a lack of Vitamin c injection).It is also used as an antioxidant.
