How to use NOVONORM TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take Novonorm 2mg tablet empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

How NOVONORM TABLET works

Novonorm 2mg tablet increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas, which in turn lowers the blood glucose levels.

Expert advice for NOVONORM TABLET

  • Repaglinide does not help patients who have type 1 diabetes.
  • Swallow the tablets with a glass of water before the meals or within 30 minutes after the main meal. 
  • Avoid driving if you feel dizzy after consuming Repaglinide. 
  • Notify your doctor immediately if you are or are planning to become pregnant during the administration of this medicine.
  • Do not breast-feed while taking Repaglinide.
  • Notify your doctor if you have any liver problem or kidney disease.
  • Notify your doctor about Repaglinide if you are about to undergo a major surgery.
