It is better to take Neotach 10mg injection empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).
Avoid Neotach 10mg injection with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
Taking esmolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Neotach 10mg injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Neotach 10mg injection is used in the treatment of angina (chest pain), arrhythmias (abnormal heart beat), heart attack and increased blood pressure

How it works

Neotach 10mg injection belongs to the class of drugs called Beta-blockers. It binds to the ?-adrenergic receptors in the heart, blocks them, opposes the action of certain endogenous chemicals and slows the heart rate as well as relaxes the blood vessels, thereby controlling the arrhythmia and lowering the blood pressure.

  • Esmolol may cause dizziness and lightheadedness. To avoid this, get up slowly after sitting or lying down.
  • The Esmolol may affect your blood sugar and cover up the symptoms of low blood sugar if you have diabetes.
  • Esmolol may reduce blood flow to your hands and feet, causing them to feel cold. Smoking may worsen this effect. Dress warmly and avoid the use of tobacco.
  • Consult your doctor whether to continue Esmolol before any scheduled surgery.
  • It is not the first-choice treatment for high blood pressure according to the latest guidelines, except if you have a heart failure or heart disease.
