How to use Alupent Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alupent 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alupent 10mg tablet is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and makes breathing easier.

Expert advice for Alupent Tablet

  • Do not start or continue orciprenaline if you are allergic to orciprenaline or to sympathomimetic drugs (e.g., epinephrine, pseudoephedrine) or anything in formulation.
  • Do not start orciprenaline if you have heart disease related to heart rhythm (arrhythmia with tachycardia).
  • Do not take orciprenaline if you have heart disease (abnormal heartbeat, ischemic heart disease, high blood pressure), fits, overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), diabetes.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery while on treatment with orciprenaline as it may make you feel dizzy. Limit alcoholic beverages.
