Triumph 250 Injection is a man-made form of the female hormone called progesterone, that helps lower the risk of delivering the baby too early (premature labor), particularly in women who have had this complication in an earlier pregnancy. Progesterone is a hormone that thickens the lining of the uterus and prepares it for the growth and development of the baby. So, it helps your uterus grow during pregnancy and also prevents any contractions that can otherwise lead to miscarriage.

Triumph 250 Injection is used in pregnant women to help lower the risk of giving birth too early (preterm birth).
It is only given to a woman who has had a preterm delivery in the past.
It is not for use in women who are pregnant with more than one baby (twins, triplets, etc.).
It is administered only by or under the immediate supervision of your doctor. Your doctor can start giving you the injection every week between 16 and 20 weeks and continue through week 37, or until you deliver.
It may affect blood sugar levels. Monitor your blood sugar regularly.
Inform your doctor if you notice yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, or stomach pain. These could be symptoms of a serious liver problem.
Inform your doctor immediately if you have pain in the chest, groin or legs, difficulty with breathing, sudden severe headache, slurred speech, sudden unexplained shortness of breath, a sudden loss of coordination, or vision changes while using this medicine.

Triumph 250 Injection is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.

Taking Triumph with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Tamoxifen (Oral Route)

Do not consume Tamoxifen with Hydroxyprogesterone if you have or had breast cancer. If essential, consult your doctor. Hydroxyprogesterone may reduce the efficacy of Tamoxifen.

Letrozole (Oral Route)

Do not consume Letrozole with Hydroxyprogesterone if you have or had breast cancer. If essential, consult your doctor.

Anastrozole (Oral Route)

Do not consume Anastrozole with Hydroxyprogesterone if you have or had breast cancer. If essential, consult your doctor. Hydroxyprogesterone may reduce the efficacy of Anastrozole.

Raloxifene (Oral Route)

Do not consume Raloxifene with Hydroxyprogesterone. If concurrent use is essential, please consult your doctor. Hydroxyprogesterone may reduce the efficacy of Raloxifene.
