Take Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet regularly in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It may take several weeks for thyroid hormone levels to improve, so continue taking it even if you do not notice an immediate improvement. Do not stop treatment or change the dose without consulting your doctor, as this may cause thyroid hormone levels to rise again. Your doctor may recommend regular thyroid function tests to monitor your response and adjust the dose when necessary.


Common side effects of Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet include nausea, stomach discomfort, headache, skin rash, itching, and joint pain. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor. Seek immediate medical advice if you develop a fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, or unusual bruising or bleeding, as these may indicate a serious blood-related side effect.


Before taking Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have liver disease, blood disorders, or a history of pancreatitis associated with carbimazole or methimazole. This medicine should not be used in patients with certain serious blood disorders, severe liver impairment, or a previous episode of pancreatitis caused by these medicines. Management of Graves Disease
Thyrotoxicosis occurs when there are excessive thyroid hormones in the body, which can cause a rapid heartbeat, anxiety, sweating, and unexplained weight loss. Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet helps manage thyrotoxicosis caused by excessive thyroid hormone production by reducing the amount of hormones made by the thyroid gland. As hormone levels decrease, symptoms such as tremors, palpitations, and heat intolerance may improve.
Treatment of Thyrotoxicosis
Graves disease is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system causes the thyroid gland to produce excessive thyroid hormones. Neo-Mercazole 5 Tablet helps control this overproduction and gradually brings thyroid hormone levels towards normal.
