Lasma 10 Tablet is a prescription medicine used for asthma prevention and for the treatment of allergy symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose. It reduces inflammation in the airways and makes breathing easier.

Lasma 10 Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It is advised to have it 2 hours before exercise if you have exercise-induced asthma. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Liver

CAUTION

Lasma 10 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lasma 10 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Lasma 10 Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

What if you forget to take Lasma Tablet?

Usually, it is recommended to take Lasma 10 Tablet in the evening when it is being used for asthma and allergic rhinitis (cough and cold due to allergy). However, the exact reason for this is not yet known. Some studies have shown that there is no difference in effectiveness whether Lasma 10 Tablet is taken in the evening or morning. Hence, take the medicine as directed by your doctor.

Q. Is Lasma 10 Tablet a steroid?

No, Lasma 10 Tablet is not a steroid. It is a leukotriene blocker. Leukotrienes are natural substances released during an allergic reaction which causes constriction of muscles of airway. It can also cause allergy symptoms. This medicine blocks leukotrienes which helps in relieving symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis.

Q. Does Lasma 10 Tablet make you drowsy?
