Taking Cartigen with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Inform your doctor if you notice any signs of bleeding (bruising, bleeding gums, blood in stool/vomit/urine). Your doctor may monitor your blood clotting ability frequently.

Warfarin (Oral Route)

Talk to your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms.Doctor may monitor your blood sugar level. Glucosamine may raise blood levels of the active form of Warfarin.

Gliclazide (Oral Route)

The reason being, this medication interacts with the blood thinners and boosts the effect of the blood-thinning medication, thereby reducing the blood’s ability to form a clot in case of bleeding episodes. Therefore, patients taking any blood-thinning medicine should consult their doctor before starting this medication.
