What is IgM-RF?
Rheumatoid Factor, also known as RF, is generally used as marker in patients who are suspected to have rheumatoid arthritis. The rheumatoid factor IgM antibody test determines the presence of this marker in the blood.
Why is IgM-RF done?
You should get this test done if you have symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis like joint pain, joint swelling etc.

A positive test usually indicates that you are suffering from Rheumatoid arthritis.
