Product introduction

Carkozom 20 Tablet belongs to a group of medicine called anti-thyroid agents. इसे हाइपरथाइरॉइडिज्म के इलाज में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. यह थायरॉइड ग्लैंड द्वारा बनाए गए थाइरॉइड हॉर्मोन की मात्रा को कम करता है.

आपको इसे डॉक्टर द्वारा बताई गयी खुराक और अवधि के अनुसार लेना चाहिए. But, before taking it report to doctor if you have any known allergy to this medication. आपके खून में ब्लड सेल का लेवल चेक करने के लिए आपका डॉक्टर नियमित रूप से ब्लड टेस्ट करवा सकता है. Remember to inform doctor if you experience unexplained bleeding, fever, or general illness. Your doctor may advice for monitoring of liver function.

It may cause skin rash, headache, paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation) and hair loss as its side effects.

Carkozom 20 Tablet reduces the amount of thyroid hormone in your body and also helps relieve the symptoms of hyperthyroidism. How to use Carkozom Tablet

If you notice jaundice, you should discontinue Carkozom 20 Tablet and seek immediate medical advice.

No, it is advisable not to take Carkozom 20 Tablet during pregnancy as it may cause abnormalities in your baby. You should consult your doctor because if your thyroid hormone levels are not controlled, the chances of birth defects in your baby are much more. In case Carkozom 20 Tablet is the only option for you, your doctor will prescribe the lowest possible dose, which will be regulated according to your condition. You can stop it 3-4 weeks before delivery to reduce the chances of complications in your baby.
