Introduction of Starkid Sachet

Starkid 18 mg Sachet is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This medicine helps to modulates the activity of certain chemical messengers in the brain, which increases attention and decreases restlessness.

Starkid 18 mg Sachet is taken by mouth with or without food preferably same time each day. Take this medicine as advised by doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment and never stop this suddenly without talking to doctor. Before taking the medicine, inform your doctor if you have any problems with your kidneys, heart, liver, or have suicidal thoughts.

Some common side effects of using this medicine are nausea, vomiting, and decreased appetite. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you feel better. It may also cause headaches, drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if it does not go away. Your blood pressure may decrease after taking this medicine, so it is important to monitor it and consult doctor if it bothers you. It may also cause weight loss, consult a dietitian for dietary supplement or try to increase your food portion if this happens.

According to American Pychiatric Association, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) affects about 5 percent of children and about half of them carry those symptoms into adulthood.The basic symptoms include inattentiveness, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. ADHD in children manifests as lack of attention, being accident prone and disturbance in academic performance. In adults, fidgetiness is often sign of hyperactivity. Other common manifestations are disorganized, forgetful and clumsy adult who appears to have difficulty in handling responsibilities. Once diagnosed, management includes Medicines and psychotherapy. It is an ongoing process and not a few month course to get rid of problem. Coping is a major part of symptom management.
