Introduction of Reditux Injection

Reditux 100 Injection is used in the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), rheumatoid arthritis, blood cancer (chronic lymphocytic leukemia), granulomatosis with polyangiitis and microscopic polyangiitis.

Reditux 100 Injection is give under the supervision of doctor. You must take it in a dose as advised by the doctor. The duration of treatment varies on the basis of your need and response to treatment. However, before taking it inform your doctor if you have any heart rhythm problems, if you are having surgery or if you plan to get any vaccinations. Your doctor may get blood tests done to check for hepatitis B before treatment and to check your blood cells during treatment with this medicine. You should inform doctor immediately if you notice any signs of infection such as fever, sore throat or rash.

Let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding. It may cause headache, weakness, hair loss and increased risk of infection as its side effects.

How Reditux Injection works

Reditux 100 Injection is a monoclonal antibody. It works by targeting the unwanted activity of immune cells (B cells) in rheumatoid arthritis and certain types of cancers.

Alcohol

Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Reditux 100 Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Pregnancy
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Reditux 100 Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Reditux 100 Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
It is not known whether Reditux 100 Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Reditux 100 Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Reditux 100 Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
There is limited information available on the use of Reditux 100 Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Reditux 100 Injection is not recommended in patients with the active liver disease or those who had viral hepatitis as it can reactivate the infection.

Hello, I've been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis since last 15 years. I've gotten bone deformities already in my limb and partly my wrists. I've been suggested to go for Intacept 25 mg injections, but also cautioned about its side effects. kindly suggest me if I should go on with the injection or stick to current medication, which has proved to be futile.
