Q-Calm 25 Tablet is an antipsychotic medicine used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. In schizophrenia, it helps control symptoms such as hallucinations, unusual thoughts, and changes in thinking or behaviour. In bipolar disorder, it is used to treat manic episodes and depressive episodes.

Take Q-Calm 25 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own, even if you start feeling better, as suddenly stopping the medicine may cause side effects such as trouble sleeping, nausea, and vomiting. Attend all your follow-up appointments so your doctor can monitor your response to treatment.

Common side effects of Q-Calm 25 Tablet include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, upset stomach, weakness, and weight gain. Dizziness or light-headedness may occur when standing up, particularly when starting treatment or when the dose is increased, so get up slowly from a sitting or lying position. Drink enough water to prevent dehydration. As Q-Calm 25 Tablet can cause drowsiness and affect thinking and coordination, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Q-Calm 25 Tablet, as it can worsen drowsiness and other side effects. Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated, especially during exercise or hot weather.
