It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Precitrol 30 mg tablet at a fixed time.
Taking pioglitazone with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.

Precitrol 30 mg tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Pioglitazone(30 mg)

Uses

Precitrol 30 mg tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

How it works

Precitrol 30 mg tablet restores body's ability to use insulin to lower blood sugar level. Also decreases amount of glucose absorbed from food in the intestine and decreases glucose production from liver.

Numbness, Abnormal liver function tests, Bladder cancer, Bone fracture, Insomnia, Nasal infection, Visual impairment, Weight gain

  • Pioglitazone does not help patients who have type 1 diabetes.
  • Type 2 diabetes can be controlled with a proper diet alone or a diet along with exercise. A planned diet and exercising are always important when you have diabetes, even when you are taking antidiabetic medicines.
