Side Effects of Norsed are Sleepiness, Increased heart rate, Weight gain, Difficulty in urination, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Dryness in mouth, Constipation.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Norsed 25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Norsed 25 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Norsed 25 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Norsed 25 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. As Norsed 25 mg Tablet may affect your alertness which may affect your ability to drive.
Norsed 25 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Norsed 25 mg Tablet is recommended.
Norsed 25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Norsed 25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine. Use of Norsed 25 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If you miss a dose of Norsed 25 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
