How to use Natelide Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Natelide 60mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Natelide Tablet works

Natelide 60mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas which prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

  • Natelide results in fast and effective control of high blood sugar following meals.
  • For best results, take Natelide 15 to 30 minutes before a meal.
  • If you miss a meal, skip your dose to avoid hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level).
  • You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines along with Natelide

Taking nateglinide with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.
Natelide 60mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Natelide 60mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Monitor the breastfed baby’s blood sugar during treatment with Natelide 60mg Tablet
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is
low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
Natelide 60mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney
disease. No dose adjustment of Natelide 60mg Tablet is recommended.
Natelide 60mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Natelide 60mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Limited data are available on the use of Natelide 60mg Tablet in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.

Dexadran 4mg Injection, Decamycin 4mg Injection, Manoprolol 40mg Tablet, Walacort 0.5mg Tablet

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Nateglinide, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
