Product introduction

Minidep 20mg Tablet should be taken with food. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time each day. You should never skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.

Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and diarrhea. It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus. Moreover, most of the side effects are immediate and often go away with time. Please consult your doctor if these bother you or do not go away.

Before taking Minidep 20mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any problems with your kidneys, heart, or liver problems or have a history of seizures (epilepsy or fits). Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or if you have any suicidal thoughts.

Interaction with drugs

Taking Minidep with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Life-threatening

Selegiline (Oral Route)

Do not consume Vilazodone with Selegiline.
Life-threatening

Moclobemide (Oral Route)

Concomitant use may cause a fatal increase in blood serotonin levels. Patients may experience agitation, increased body temperature, fast heartbeat, muscle rigidity, and loss of coordination.
Life-threatening

Tranylcypromine (Oral Route)

Concomitant use may cause a fatal increase in blood serotonin levels. Patients may experience agitation, increased body temperature, fast heartbeat, muscle rigidity, and loss of coordination.
Severe

Ziprasidone (Oral Route)

Watch out for symptoms such as tremors, fever, diarrhea or agitation and consult your doctor if you experience them. Your doctor may discontinue the medicines accordingly.
Moderate

Ticagrelor (Oral Route)

Inform your doctor if you notice any signs of bleeding (bruising, bleeding gums, blood in stool/vomit/urine).
