Miglit 25mg Tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes
It is used in addition to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

How to use Miglit Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Miglit 25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Miglit Tablet works

Miglit 25mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Miglit 25mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Miglit 25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Miglit 25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Use of Miglit 25mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Miglit 25mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Miglitol, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
