Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Meslo 800mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Meslo 800mg Tablet blocks the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation of the lining of the intestines.

Expert advice for Meslo Tablet

  • Do not take the medicine if you are allergic to mesalazine, to any other content in the medicine, aspirin and other salicylate drugs.
  • Do not take mesalazine if you have severe kidney or liver problems, blood disorders or uncontrolled bleeding.
  • Do not take mesalazine if you have stomach or bowel ulcers or a history of bleeding ulcers, glucose-galactose mala absorption, Lapp-lactase deficiency or galactose intolerance.
  • Doctor’s advice should be considered in case of patients with liver, kidney or lung disease (asthma).
  • Avoid taking mesalazine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breast-feeding.

If you are taking Meslo 800mg Tablet, monitor the baby for diarrhea.

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Mesalazine / Mesalamine, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
