How to use Infartin 60 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take Infartin 60 Tablet empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

How Infartin 60 Tablet works

Infartin 60 tablet is an antiplatelet medication. It works by preventing platelets from sticking together which decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.

Expert advice for Infartin 60 Tablet

  • Do not use dipyridamole tablet, if you are allergic to dipyridamole or any other ingredients.
  • Do consult your doctor before taking dipyridamole, if you have disorders of blood vessels in the heart (coronary artery disease); narrowing/blocking of valves in the heart (aortic stenosis); low blood pressure (hypotension); chest pain (angina) or heart attack (myocardial infarction).
  • Do not use dipyridamole, if you have myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disease characterized by weak muscles and unusual tiredness).
  • Use of dipyridamole is not recommended in children aged below 12 years.
  • You may experience pulsating headaches while taking dipyridamole which usually disappears when dose is reduced.
  • Do consult your doctor before taking dipyridamole, if you are pregnant (especially in the first trimester), planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
