Uses of Hospimycin Injection

Hospimycin 500mg Injection is used in the treatment of bacterial infections
It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Diarrhoea, Allergy.

How Hospimycin Injection works

Hospimycin 500mg Injection is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

  • Hospimycin will cure your infection and improve symptoms.
  • It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Hospimycin 500mg Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Hospimycin 500mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, sleepy,
tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Hospimycin 500mg Injection should be used with caution in pa
tients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hospimycin 500mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Hospimycin 500mg Injection is probably safe to use in patien
ts with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Hospimycin 500mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Clarithromycin, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

When taken with birth control pills, Hospimycin does not affect birth control.
