How Gempar Capsule works

GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE is a lipid lowering medication. It works by lowering the levels of triglycerides and "bad" cholesterol (LDL), while raising the levels of "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Gempar Capsule?

If you miss a dose of GEMPAR 300 MG CAPSULE, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
