Exodep 25mg Tablet is used in the treatment of depression, neuropathic pain and anxiety disorder. It is used in patients intolerant of or unresponsive to alternative treatment options for depression.

How to use Exodep Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Exodep 25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Exodep 25mg Tablet increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.

Expert advice for Exodep Tablet

  • The main dose should be taken at night as this drug may produce drowsiness or sleepiness.
  • It can take 4 to 6 weeks for Exodep to start working.
  • You should continue the treatment for at least 6 months after you feel better to stop depression from coming back.
  • If your doctor asks you to stop Exodep, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. You should not discontinue it abruptly.
  • Avoid driving or operating machinery as it may decrease alertness.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Exodep, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness.
  • The addiction/dependence potential of Exodep is very less.

Driving
It is not known whether Exodep 25mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
There is limited information available on the use of Exodep 25mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
However, some studies suggest a cautious use of this medicine in patients with kidney disease.
Liver

What if you miss a dose of Exodep Tablet?uses

If you miss a dose of Exodep 25mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Q. Can I take Exodep with diazepam?
