Dottrip 10mg Tablet is used in the treatment of depression and neuropathic pain.
It is used in patients intolerant of or unresponsive to alternative treatment options for depression.

Side effects of Dottrip Tablet


Sleepiness, Blurred vision, Increased heart rate, Dry mouth, Constipation, Weight gain, Difficulty in urination, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing).


How to use Dottrip Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Dottrip 10mg Tablet at a fixed time.

Dottrip 10mg tablet increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.

  • The main dose should be taken at night as this drug may produce drowsiness or sleepiness.
  • It can take 4 to 6 weeks for Dottrip to start working.
  • You should continue the treatment for at least 6 months after you feel better to stop depression from coming back.
  • If your doctor asks you to stop Dottrip, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. You should not discontinue it abruptly.
  • Avoid driving or operating machinery as it may decrease alertness.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Dottrip, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness.
  • The addiction/dependence potential of Dottrip is very less.
  • It may be extremely dangerous in overdose.

kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dottrip 10mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Dottrip 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dottrip 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Use of Dottrip 10mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Mezolam 7.5mg Injection, Adamon 100mg Injection, TRANDOL 50MG INJECTION, Barbinol 20mg/5ml Syrup

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Amitriptyline, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
