Budeflam Aquanase can be taken with or without food. To get maximum benefit of the medicine, take it regularly and at the fixed time of each day. Do not discontinue taking the medication without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

This medicine works in your nose to block the effects of substances like pollen, dust mites and mold that can trigger allergic reactions. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities without worrying so much about getting an allergic reaction. It may not work straight away, so use it regularly as prescribed to get the most benefit. If you see no improvement after a week, talk to your doctor.

How to use Budeflam Nasal Spray

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.

How Budeflam Nasal Spray works

Budeflam Aquanase is a steroid. It gets absorbed into the cells of the inner surface of the nose and works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) and allergies. This relieves blocked or runny nose, sneezing and sinus discomfort.

The right way to use the nasal spray:
- Shake the bottle before using the medicine.
- Clean your nose thoroughly before using the medicine.
- Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril.
- Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose.
- Breathe out gently through your mouth and repeat the same process for the other nostril.
Avoid deep breathing as it will cause medication to go back to the throat and make it less effective.
Do not share the bottle with anyone else so that you do not spread germs.
Budeflam Aquanase should be avoided in patients with recent nasal ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal trauma.
