Broclars Kid 500mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections
It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Broclars Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Broclars Kid 500mg Tablet at a fixed time.
Avoid Broclars Kid 500mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

How Broclars Tablet works

Broclars kid 500mg tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

  • Always take the complete course of treatment, as advised by your doctor even if you feel better.
  • Never take an antibiotic for a viral infection like a cold or the flu.
  • Can lead to nausea and diarrhoea frequently. If this becomes severe or persistent or you notice that your stool contains blood or mucus you should stop taking Broclars immediately and consult your doctor.
  • Inform your doctor if you develop a rash or other unexpected symptoms.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with liver problems.

Broclars is safe if used at prescribed doses for the prescribed duration as advised by your doctor
Broclars can be used to treat bacterial vaginosis unless resistance has not been developed against clindamycin or any macrolide antibiotic (Broclars. azithromycin, etc.)

Broclars does not cause drowsiness when taken as prescribed. But, it may cause insomnia (sleeplessness) and thrush (infection of mouth caused by candida fungus)
When taken with birth control pills, Broclars does not affect birth control.
