Interaction with drugs

Taking AT with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Life-threatening

Moclobemide (Oral Route)

Do not consume Moclobemide with Amitriptyline. If Moclobemide is essential, ensure a gap of at least 1 day after discontinuing Amitriptyline. Please consult your doctor.
Life-threatening

Domperidone (Oral Route)

Do not consume Domperidone with Amitriptyline.
Life-threatening

Tranylcypromine (Oral Route)

Do not consume Tranylcypromine with Amitriptyline. If Tranylcypromine is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 weeks after discontinuing Amitriptyline. Please consult your doctor.
Severe

Tramadol (Injection Route)

Careful consideration is advised if you have epilepsy. Watch out for symptoms of serotonin syndrome, such as sedation, respiratory impairment, tremors, fever, diarrhea, or agitation, and consult your doctor if you experience them. Your doctor may alter or discontinue the medicines accordingly.
Severe

Thioridazine (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as sleepiness, dry mouth, impaired voluntary movements, weight gain, constipation, muscle stiffness or tremors and consult your doctor if you experience them. Factors such as old age, chronic heart issues, or low potassium levels may more frequently cause disturbance in heart rhythm, and your doctor may consider ECG monitoring in their presence.

Men may experience an inability to develop or maintain an erection during sexual activity and may be unable to have an orgasm. If you notice these symptoms, do not stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.
You should immediately consult your doctor or go to the hospital. Your suicidal tendencies may have increased because of your disease or the medicine. Generally, AT 10 Tablet takes about 2 weeks to show its effect, but it may take longer. Therefore, when you start taking AT 10 Tablet, you may have thoughts about killing or harming yourself. This is more common in people who previously had suicidal tendencies or are young adults (less than 25 years old). However, the effect of medicine is different for every individual.
Do not take AT 10 Tablet during pregnancy unless recommended by the doctor. If you take this medicine during the last trimester of pregnancy, the newborn may develop symptoms such as irritability, rigidity, irregular body movements, irregular breathing, poor feeding, loud crying, difficulty in urinating, and constipation.
