Arpit 10 Tablet is an antipsychotic medicine. It is used in the treatment of schizophrenia (a mental disorder that can result in hallucinations or delusions and also adversely affects a person’s ability to think and behave) and mania. It can also be used to treat depression and bipolar disorders.
Arpit 10 Tablet is taken by mouth with or without food preferably at morning. However, it is advisable to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
Some common side effects of this medicine includes nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, and dryness in mouth. Initially, this medicine may cause sudden drop in the blood pressure when you change positions, so it is better to rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It also causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. This medicine may increase your blood sugar and cholesterol levels. However, modifying your lifestyle by having a healthy diet and doing exercise regularly can reduce this side effect. Remember to inform doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts while taking this medicine.
Mania means extremely excited or elevated mood. Arpit 10 Tablet helps calm the mood and relax the nerves. This stabilises the mood and prevents the symptoms of mania from recurring again. Taking Arpit 10 Tablet will ensure that you have a better social life and are able to do daily activities more comfortably.

What should I avoid while using Arpit 10 Tablet?
Arpit 10 Tablet may commonly cause sleepiness, sedation, dizziness, blurred vision, and double vision. Avoid driving and using heavy machinery if you experience these symptoms. You should also avoid over-exercise, over-exposure to heat or getting dehydrated by avoiding direct sunlight. It is recommended to stay indoors in hot weather, and drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
Can Arpit 10 Tablet be taken by diabetics?
Arpit 10 Tablet may cause an increase in blood sugar levels. Extremely high levels of blood sugar may cause coma and death. Therefore, if you have diabetes, you should stay alert and check your blood sugar levels regularly.
