Apicord 10mg Tablet is an antipsychotic medicine. It is used in the treatment of schizophrenia (a mental disorder that can result in hallucinations or delusions and also adversely affects a person’s ability to think and behave) and mania. It can also be used to treat depression and bipolar disorders.

Apicord 10mg Tablet is taken by mouth with or without food preferably at morning. However, it is advisable to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. • It may take 4 to 6 weeks to see full effects on thoughts and mood. Keep taking it as prescribed.
• Your doctor may advise you to take it in the morning if you experience any difficulty in sleeping.
• It may increase your blood sugar and cholesterol. Eat healthy, exercise regularly and monitor your blood sugar and cholesterol levels regularly.
• Apicord 10mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
• Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Apicord 10mg Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness.
