Take Amantrel Tablet as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day, to maintain a steady level of the medicine in your body. It can also be used to treat drug-induced movement disorders.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication must not be stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor.

Some common side effects of Amantrel Tablet include nausea, dizziness, and insomnia (difficulty sleeping). If you experience dizziness, rise slowly and do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.

This medicine may put you at a higher risk of having seizures, so talk to your doctor if you have any history of seizures or if you are taking any medication for seizures. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking this medicine to make sure it is safe for them.

• To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
• Amantrel Tablet may put you at a higher risk of having seizures. Talk to your doctor if you have a history of seizures or are taking medication for it.
• Inform your doctor if you experience compulsive behaviors like gambling, increased sexual urges, binge eating, or overspending, as Amantrel Tablet may affect dopamine levels and cause impulse control issues.
• Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.
