Sleepiness, Dizziness, Fatigue, Uncoordinated body movements, Slurred speech, Memory impairment, Headache, Dryness in mouth, Constipation, Depression, Irritability.


How to use Adinep Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Adinep 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Adinep Tablet works

Adinep 10mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

  • If you are taking Adinep for the treatment of severe anxiety, it should not be used more than 4 weeks.
  • It may become less effective over the time.
  • It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Adinep, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.

Adinep 10mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Adinep 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Adinep 10mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Short-term use is not expected to cause any adverse effects in the breastfed baby, especially if the baby is older than 2 months. During long-term use, monitor for possible sleepiness.
