Under Eye Dark Circles? Try These 6 Essential Oils To Lighten Them!

Excess of work, increased screen time and inadequate sleep are some of the most common reasons for those under-eye dark circles. They are more commonly observed in Asian and American skin tones. However, there are a few essential oils that can help you to get rid of dark circles:

1 . Fennel (Saunf)

The benefits of fennel essential oil date back to ancient Rome when the dwellers used it for enhancing their beauty. With a mild licorice aroma, fennel is known for its antiseptic properties. Used normally with witch hazel, this essential oil can smooth out wrinkles and treat dark, baggy skin under your eyes.

2 . Lavender

Lavender is the most common essential oil and is known for its cooling and soothing properties. It helps to drain out fluid stored under the eyes that eventually cause under eye bags. You could use a mixture of coconut oil and lavender oil and massage it gently with your finger.

3 . Rose Geranium

Sandalwood has various uses. Being an effective moisturizer as well as a skin lightening agent, sandalwood oil can be used to reduce the darkness under the eyes. Use with rose oil to keep your skin hydrated and elastic. These oils are used in the face spa when the skin pores open up and the oil is absorbed in the skin.
