Color Doppler Scrotum

Color doppler testis also called scrotal ultrasound is an imaging technique that is used to visualize scrotum. This method uses sound waves to produce pictures of man's testicles and surrounding tissues. The test is used to diagnose the disorders of testicles, epididymis and scrotum. In some cases. it is also used to identify blood flow inside the scrotum. This method is used in testicular torsion as in this the blood flow to the testicle is reduced.
