How to use Zuvair Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zuvair 20mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Zuvair Tablet works

Zuvair 20mg tablet works by blocking the action of leukotriene. It lowers inflammation in the airways and nose to prevent asthma.

Expert advice for Zuvair Tablet

  • Take it in the evening for better control of asthma or allergies symptoms.
  • Relatively safe medicine with very few side effects.
  • Take Zuvair 2 hours before exercising if you have exercise-induced asthma.
  • Will not work for sudden wheezing or asthma attacks once they start. Always carry a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you.
  • Not as effective as steroid inhalers for asthma.
  • Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.

. Limited human data suggests that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Zuvair 20mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Zuvair 20mg Tablet is recommended.

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Zafirlukast, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
