Uses of Zomator Injection

Zomator 0.25 mg Injection is used in the treatment of acromegaly, carcinoid tumours and bleeding esophageal varices.

How Zomator Injection works

Zomator 0.25 mg Injection works by blocking the effects of certain natural hormones in the body such as serotonin and growth hormone. It also decreases bleeding from food pipe by constricting (narrowing) the blood vessels.

Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Zomator 0.25 mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Zomator 0.25 mg Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
It is not known whether Zomator 0.25 mg Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
There is limited information available on the use of Zomator 0.25 mg Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of Zomator 0.25 mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Zomator Injection?

If you miss a dose of Zomator 0.25 mg Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
