Introduction of Xmalon Tablet

Xmalon 25 mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through menopause. It adjusts the level of sex hormone (estrogen) to treat early cases of breast cancer and helps in slowing down the growth of cancer cells, that need estrogen to grow.

Xmalon 25 mg Tablet may also be used in combination with other medicines in early breast cancer to prevent the risk of coming back. It should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time of each day. This will ensure consistent levels of medicine in the body. Most common side effects of using this medicine are headaches, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping) and joint pain. If any of these side effects bother you, consult the doctor.

How Xmalon Tablet works

Xmalon 25 mg Tablet is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by lowering the amount of estrogen (natural female hormone) produced in the body. This can lower or stop the growth of some breast cancer cells that need estrogen to grow.

Xmalon 25 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Driving

Xmalon 25 mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney

What if you miss a dose of Xmalon Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Xmalon 25 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

I had a 1-2 Stage breast cancer and mastectomy was done for left breast in 2011. Earlier I was taking Tamoxifen Citrate 20mg. Now, prescribed Altraz 1mg. Which is better and can I continue with Tamoxifen as Altraz is too costly.

surger and chemotherapy radiation therapy has done for breast cancer stage II. Presently hormone treatment is going on. Tamoxifen citrate tablet 20 is taking every day for 5 years as per dactors prescription. Can you suggest any new medicine for further treatment
