Uses of Vingose Tablet

Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is used in addition to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

How to use Vingose Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab is to be taken with food.

How Vingose Tablet works

Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab is an anti-diabetic medication. It inhibits an enzyme that helps in conversion of carbohydrates to glucose. This slows down carbohydrate digestion/absorption thereby preventing increase in blood glucose after meals.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking Voglibose with alcohol reduce the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.
Pregnancy
PROBABLY SAFE
Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
SAFE
Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Vingose Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Vingose 0.2 mg FlashTab, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Per day calorie intake should be between 1,500-1,800 calories with a proportion of 60:20:20 between carbohydrates, fats and proteins, respectively, take Healthy fats from raw nuts, olive oil, fish oils, flax seeds etc, fresh Fruits and vegetables,whole grains, legumes and other high-fibre diet, avoid refined carbohydrate diet,if u eat non veg u can take fish, poultry egg white, pulses whereas avoid red meat, avoid saturated fats like ghee, butter, avoid sweet foods, take small but frequent meals, supplements containing omega 3 fatty acids like Multivite fm omega capsule Quit smoking, avoid too much alcohol intake, find ways to reduce stress like meditation, yoga, etc. Moderate exercise daily like a brisk walk for 1 km. hope it helps
