Uses of Vasu Capsule

Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule is used in the treatment of bacterial infections
It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Vasu Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Vasu clear 250mg capsule is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, ti
red, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule should be used with caution in pati
ents with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule is probably safe to use in patients
with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Vasu Clear 250mg Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Clarithromycin, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

When taken with birth control pills, Vasu does not affect birth control.
