Product introduction
Valtus 450 Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It should be taken with food. You should drink plenty of water while on treatment with this medicine, as it helps prevent dehydration and kidney damage.
Valtus 450 Tablet may cause a few common side effects like diarrhea, vomiting, anemia, low white blood cells, low platelet levels, insomnia, and vomiting. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration.
Before you start Valtus 450 Tablet, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions. Let your doctor also know about all the medications you are taking, as some medicines may interact with Valtus 450 Tablet. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

- Take Valtus 450 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor to effectively control CMV retinitis and prevent the worsening of the infection.
- Regular blood tests may be required to monitor your blood cell counts, as Valtus 450 Tablet can cause low white blood cells (leukopenia) and low platelets (thrombocytopenia).
- Inform your doctor if you experience unusual bleeding, persistent fever, vision changes, or severe fatigue, as these may indicate serious side effects.
- Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least 90 days after stopping the medication, as Valtus 450 Tablet may cause birth defects.
