Actually this incident happened with me year and a half ago. I was in very crowded place where i didnt had an space of feet to move.the suddent someone fallen on me from back of my side and my whole body got twist untill from top untill knee.i was able to walk after that for one day. Then i realized that whenever i was straithning leg i was feeling pain and could not fully streched it. So i consult an doctor regarding this they suggested me to do an MRI test but unfortunately due to financial problems i was unable to that test and took an ayurvedic treatment and luckily my problem got sorted out. After few months now i am feeling pain in climbing stairs and running and during winters my knee is freezing and giving me alot of pain for a minute or two. There can be some ligamental injury or meniscus injury in the knee which can cause this problem and the definite diagnosis can be made only by an MRI. In case you do not want to get it you can continue with the quadriceps exercises for the timing. There is no role of medicines as such

I would advise you to please get your vitamin D checked. Shoulder problems are better seen and examined to come to a proper diagnosis as there can be many causes do it.
