How to use Triglyd Capsule

How Triglyd Capsule works

Triglyd 300 mg Capsule is a lipid lowering medication. It works by lowering the levels of triglycerides and "bad" cholesterol (LDL), while raising the levels of "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Lactation

Triglyd 300 mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Triglyd 300 mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
CAUTION
Triglyd 300 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Triglyd 300 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Triglyd 300 mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
UNSAFE
Triglyd 300 mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Triglyd Capsule?

If you miss a dose of Triglyd 300 mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
