Stpl 75 mg Tablet

Overview

Introduction of Stpl Tablet

Stpl 75 mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antiplatelet medicines or blood thinners. It helps your blood flow more easily and prevents formation of harmful blood clots.

Stpl 75 mg Tablet reduces the risk of having another heart attack, stroke, or blood clots in stents, especially in a patient who has already undergone angioplasty due to severe chest pain or heart attack. It can be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It can be taken with or without food and should be taken at the same time each day. It is important to keep taking this medicine even if you feel well. If you stop taking the medicine, it may increase your chance of having a heart attack or stroke.

The most common side effect of Stpl 75 mg Tablet is bleeding. You may have nosebleeds, heavier periods, or bruising. Be extra cautious while shaving, cutting nails, using sharp objects, or engaging in contact sports (e.g., football, wrestling). Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about bleeding. Other potential side effects include headache, feeling dizzy, diarrhea or constipation, feeling sick and difficulty breathing.

Stpl 75 mg Tablet is not suitable for some people. Do not use it if you are bleeding, you have had a stroke caused by bleeding in the brain, you have severe liver disease, or you are taking certain medicines. It is best avoided if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medicine may need to be stopped temporarily before a planned surgery or dental treatment.

How to use Stpl Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stpl 75 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Stpl Tablet works

Stpl 75 mg Tablet is an antiplatelet medication. It works by preventing the platelets from sticking together, thereby decreasing the formation of harmful blood clots. This lowers the chance of heart attack or stroke.
