Clopilet Tablet

Overview

Introduction of Clopilet Tablet

Clopilet Tablet is a blood thinner which prevents formation of harmful blood clots. It reduces the risk of having another heart attack, stroke, or blood clots in stents. It can be used alone or in combination with other medicines. This medicine should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor and should not be stopped abruptly. It can increase the risk of bleeding, so be careful while shaving, cutting nails, using sharp objects, or engaging in contact sports (e.g. football, wrestling). Let your doctor know immediately if you see pinpoint rash or blood in your vomits, urine, or stool (black or tarry). This medicine may need to be stopped temporarily before a planned surgery or dental treatment. Unlike aspirin, it does not cause any gastritis (stomach pain/burning and nausea).
