Siades Syrup is used in the treatment of dry cough

Siades Syrup is an antitussive (cough suppressants). It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

- Do not take Siades Syrup if your cough is chronic or if it is accompanied by excessive secretions.
- Inform your doctor if your cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition.

Hi PATIENT medicines do cause problems in baby. However category B medicines can be taken in pregnancy with some caution. Just 2 doses should not cause much harm but I suggest you avoid all such medicines from now till atleast 11 weeks pregnancy during which time the baby's organs are being developed.
