Take Schizopin SR 100 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own, even if you start feeling better, as suddenly stopping the medicine may cause side effects such as trouble sleeping, nausea, and vomiting. Attend all your follow-up appointments so your doctor can monitor your response to treatment.

Common side effects of Schizopin SR 100 Tablet include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, upset stomach, weakness, and weight gain. Dizziness or light-headedness may occur when standing up, particularly when starting treatment or when the dose is increased, so get up slowly from a sitting or lying position. Drink enough water to prevent dehydration. As Schizopin SR 100 Tablet can cause drowsiness and affect thinking and coordination, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Schizopin SR 100 Tablet, as it can worsen drowsiness and other side effects. Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated, especially during exercise or hot weather. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take, as some medicines can interact with this medicine. Do not take this medicine should not be taken if you are allergic to quetiapine or any of its ingredients.
