RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure.

How to use Ramimata Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Ramimata Tablet works

RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

  • You have been prescribed RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET to improve blood pressure.
  • Lowering blood pressure reduces the chance of future heart attack & strokes.
  • It may also be used to treat chronic (long-standing) heart failure.
  • It protects kidney function, which is especially useful for people with diabetes or mild-to-moderate kidney diseases.
  • RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET can make you feel dizzy for the first few days.  Take it preferably at bedtime and rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
  • Let your doctor know about any dizziness, cough, or throat irritation that doesn't go away.
  • RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
  • Do not take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET.

There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of RAMIMATA 10MG TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.
