How to use Ramifast Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ramifast 2.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Ramifast Tablet works

Ramifast 2.5 mg Tablet is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

  • Let your doctor know about any dizziness, cough, or throat irritation that doesn't go away.
  • Ramifast 2.5 mg Tablet may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
  • Do not take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Ramifast 2.5 mg Tablet.

Driving
Ramifast 2.5 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Ramifast 2.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ramifast 2.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.
Liver
CAUTION
