Prothymo 450mg Tablet may cause a few common side effects like diarrhea, vomiting, anemia, low white blood cells, low platelet levels, insomnia, and vomiting. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration.

• Herpes labialis
• Treatment of Cytomegalovirus Infection
• Genital herpes infection
• Chickenpox
• Herpes Simplex Virus Infections
• Eye infections by Herpes simplex virus
• Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection

• Take Prothymo 450mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor to effectively control CMV retinitis and prevent the worsening of the infection.
• Regular blood tests may be required to monitor your blood cell counts, as Prothymo 450mg Tablet can cause low white blood cells (leukopenia) and low platelets (thrombocytopenia).
• Inform your doctor if you experience unusual bleeding, persistent fever, vision changes, or severe fatigue, as these may indicate serious side effects.
• Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least 90 days after stopping the medication, as Prothymo 450mg Tablet may cause birth defects.
